Eco ID
Over the years we have been quietly making changes to the construction of some of our products as technology has developed and more ecologically sustainable materials have become available. We participated in the movement towards limestone-based neoprene, made use of recycled materials and made our supply chain as efficient as possible. The manufacturing partners we choose to work with are selected with ecologically sustainable production in mind.
We have chosen to make numerous small increments of change rather than a single marketing led launch where the identity of our sustainability journey is wrapped up in a single brand or product.
For Alder and its family of brands sustainability means above all making products that last.
We are now adding to that tradition and learning to look for ecological sustainability in many other ways. For the first time we are giving a name to that search and the values that inspire that work.
“Eco-iD”
You will see this being rolled out over the coming months as we explain the ‘ecological identity’ of our products. Look out for the logo to keep up to date with developments.
